Water cooler

Product Description

The Stern-Williams IBA-6 In-Ground Bury Adapter is a stainless steel sleeve that gets cast into the concrete foundation before the fountain or shower ever reaches the site. It suits the 6-5/8 in. pedestal fixtures in the Stern-Williams range, which covers most single-pedestal drinking fountains, bottle fillers and foot showers.

On a new pour you have two ways to anchor a 6-5/8 in. pedestal: cast in the surface mounting plate and bolt down on top of the slab, or cast in this adapter and gain service access underneath it.

Because the pedestal bolts to the adapter rather than into the slab, the unit can be lifted out and reinstalled if the site changes, and winterizing becomes a matter of reaching the water line and drain through the opening rather than breaking concrete. Mounting bolts and washers are included.

Pairs with the SMP-6 (-6) Surface Mounting Plate. It carries the same 6-5/8 in. bolt pattern, so a pedestal specified for the -6 plate drops straight onto it.
