Product Description

The Stern-Williams IBA-10 In-Ground Bury Adapter is a stainless steel sleeve that gets cast into the concrete foundation before the fountain or shower ever reaches the site. This is the larger of the two adapters, sized for the 10-3/4 in. pedestals used on dual and triple fountains, shower towers and combination units where the base carries more load and more plumbing.

At 32.74 lbs of stainless it is a heavier assembly than the -6, and the extra body diameter is what gives a multi-station pedestal room for both supply and waste inside the foundation.

Because the pedestal bolts to the adapter rather than into the slab, the unit can be lifted out and reinstalled if the site changes, and winterizing becomes a matter of reaching the water line and drain through the opening rather than breaking concrete. Mounting bolts and washers are included.

Pairs with the SMP-10 (-10) Surface Mounting Plate. It carries the 10-3/4 in. bolt pattern used by the larger Stern-Williams pedestals.
